Fibre/Knitting Open Studio Announcement

Fibre/Knitting Open Studio sessions at the Yellowknife Guild of Arts &
Crafts started this week!  Sessions will  be held on selected Thursday
evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 pm and will alternate with open studio sessions
for other disciplines.  Sessions will be held on the second floor of the
Guild building at 113 Kam Lake Road, Yellowknife.  Fibre/knitting dates
for the next few months are as follows:

September 17, 2015
October 1, 2015
October 15, 2015
November 5, 2015
November 19, 2015
December 3, 2015

Fibre/knitting open studios will be hosted by an experienced fibre artist
who will be available to attempt to answer your questions or help you
troubleshoot your ongoing projects.  We have fibre artists who can assist
with knitting, crocheting, basketry, batik and felting.  The open studios
are not classes so actual instruction is not provided.  Participants will
need to provide their own materials.  Sessions run on a drop-in basis at a
cost of $5 per session and you need to have a current year’s Guild
membership.

Feel free to bring in your unfinished projects and come sit and create
with us!  And please forward this message to anyone else who might be
interested in joining us.
